Get unique 1980s reel-to-reel sound
This reel-to-reel stereo tape deck was launched in the early 1980s for consumers to record and mix with professional sound using minimal equipment. The half-track master recorder uses ¼” tape and comes with two-speed playback (7.5 and 15 ips), plus a variety of play/recording functions including an edit switch, pitch control, cue lever, and RCA input/output options.
Visit the AMPLab to play your reel-to-reels or experiment with splicing, magnetizing, and more to alter sound. The TASCAM 32 is also known for its sleek lines and impressive 80s looks, so you may want to come by just to see it in person.
