This Royal High Fidelity reel-to-reel from Webcor hit the market in the 50s, offering play and record options for home use. It switches between 3 ¾ and 7 ½ speeds and can play, record, rewind, and adjust for volume. Includes a vintage all-metal art-deco-tyle microphone, plus a magic eye (also called cat’s eye or tuning eye) tube recording indicator that glows green to indicate the amplitude of the electronic signal. Comes in a solid cabinet for protection and portability. (Currently requires repair 🙁.)
