1960s recording on the go
Popular among reporters and broadcast personnel during the 60s, this was one of the first truly portable, fully transistorized recorders at the time—easy to sling over a shoulder to capture interviews, music shows, and newsworthy events. It consists of 2 open reels with 2 mono tracks, and can record and playback at 4 speeds: 2.4, 4.75, 9.5, and 19 cm/s. Controls are handily located at the top and operable with one hand, and feature volume, tone, mic input, speed selector, start/stop/rewind/fast forward/record, recording level, a speaker, and more. Includes original leather carrying case.
