Record and play back MiniDiscs
Launched in 2004, this MiniDisc iteration of Sony’s popular Walkman records and plays back 1GB Hi-MD discs, which hold up to 45 hours of sound. Records from multiple sources including USB, mic-in, and digital-in, with a 5-way control key for volume, play, pause, fast forward, rewind, and more. Audio is controlled by jog dial, and display screen allows for quick info verification.
This piece of recent vintage Walkman technology is a great example of the disc players that were popular just before digital took over the industry. Bring your minidiscs in for playback or experiment with recording in this short-lived medium.
