First released in 1993, the MDS-101 was designed to be an intuitive sound player/ recorder for audiophiles with growing Mini Disc collections. This model can call up and play audio, shuffle, display disc name/song, record, adjust for sound, and more. It also comes with a 25-key remote control for extensive operating functions at a distance. Ideal for integrating into larger audio systems or using for field projects. Now used mostly to digitize archival recordings that were made on MD.
